AR Bernard Exhibit

Art Exhibition

About The Project

The Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art, Kelowna Art Gallery, and Maud Collective ran an augmented reality art exhibition on Bernard Avenue in Kelowna, BC throughout the summer of 2021. It was a part of the ‘Meet Me On Bernard’ campaign and the entire gallery was created by local Okanagan artists.

I worked in a team of three to produce an interactive piece of art that was displayed along a prominent street in downtown Kelowna. Each team consisted of a digital illustrator, the position I held, as well as an animator and a musician. The use of augmented reality allowed the animation to be overlaid on top of the image and featured a song by the local musician using a mobile app.
